What is BALLROOM BLITZ about? Here’s the blurb!

September 25, 2012

BALLROOM BLITZ, a novella in the Two to Tango Anthology, releases in one short week and I’ve had a lot of people asking me what the heck it’s about. If it’s in the Rough Riders series, or the Blacktop Cowboys series, or the Wild West Boys series.

None of the above.

It’s a stand alone novella. It’s been a while since I’ve written a novella–and also quite a few years since I’ve written anything outside of the five series I write (3 romance series–Rough Riders, Blacktop Cowboys, Wild West Boys, and 2 mystery series–Mercy Gunderson series and Julie Collins series)

And…it’s a contemporary romance novella, not an erotic novella. But it does feature a character I’ve worked with before, Jon White Feather, from WICKED GARDEN.

So I’m really excited about this project and to be anthology buddies again with my buds Jayne Rylon and Jess Dee!

This book is not up for preorder yet on amazon.com or B&N.com, and I will let you know as soon as it is!

Here’s the blurb:

BALLROOM BLITZ – A Two to Tango story.

She’s got the rhythm, but he’s got all the right moves.

After years on the road, rock drummer Jon White Feather is home from tour to reassess his music career. When his shy niece begs him to take a ballroom dancing class, Jon agrees, aware he’s not Fred Astaire material.  Still, it stings when his sexy-hot instructor—who makes his heart do the cha-cha—deals his ego a low blow: he has no rhythm.

Maggie Buchanan is doing everything to make ends meet since her IT career fizzled, including teaching couples dancing at the community center. She’s prepared for anything—except her immediate attraction to the bad boy rocker who doesn’t know his right foot from his left.

As Jon sets out to prove he can rock his body—and hers—their sexual chemistry burns a path across the dance floor, straight to the bedroom. And Maggie wasn’t expecting a man with limited dance skills would know exactly how to sweep her off her feet.

Warning: Sweet and hot…this couple knows how to bump and grind.

Another look at the rockin’ cover?

Excited for this one. I’m ready for a Lorelei James fix, even if it is not a Rough Rider, Blacktop Cowboy or even Tony Martinez. Plus I’ a Jayne Rylon fan too. And even if it is only a novella, I’ll take it. 🙂

Yeah…I too need a Lorelei fix. I’m floating in limbo waiting patiently.
