Saturday Surprise — What’s Your Drag Queen Name?

August 28, 2021

First, the winner from the July monthly wrap up was Kris Lidinsky! email me — lorelei@loreleijames.com — Kris, to get your prize sorted out πŸ™‚ And thanks to all of you for commenting! I love that you’re willing to share the ups and downs of your lives with me πŸ’–πŸ’–makes me feel less like an island, you know?

I really didn’t have much of a post idea for this week as I spent all of last weekend and most of this week working on taxes. Yes, I have to file an extension every year. No, I never learn. Yes, my accountant is extremely patient with me. Sigh. Anyway, I came across this picture and it cracked me up, so I thought it’d be a fun post for everyone to participate in πŸ‘€

Mine is: MAXINE PEPPERMINT — seriously perfect, right? C’mon. play along!

No one else will ever have the exact same drag queen name as I do, as I have never seen anyone else spell their name as my grandmother did. My drag queen name is Regenia Cookie.

So this will be really funny – Mary Mini Its It.

In case you don’t know, an Its It is an ice cream sandwich made with oatmeal cookies, ice cream, and covered in dark chocolate. They’re made in San Francisco and this year they put out mini versions. I feel like I’m making a better choice when I eat those. LOL

Hope the end of the month goes well for you!
