Off to Chicago and Romantic Times!

April 10, 2012

I’m headed to the Windy City today (I’m thinking…have the people who named it such ever been in Wyoming?) for the Romantic Times Conference. There’s all sorts of fun stuff going on. Wednesday we’re doing our Western Authors round up with the fab western authors — Viv Arend, Beth Williamson, Cat Johnson, CH Admirand, Janette Kenny, Cindy Holby, Bobbi Smith and Amanda McIntyre!

Ooh, and the cover model from Beth’s W’s upcoming book BRODY, will be on hand. As well as line dancing and some awesome giveaways!!

Thursday evening is the Samhain Publishing Western Barbecue — and I gotta tell ya, I am SO glad so much of this year’s events are western themed because I already have the clothes and boots ๐Ÿ™‚ Umm…don’t ask me how many pairs I’m bringing for 5 days…

Wish you could all be there, if you are planning on coming to RT, find me and say howdy!

    I wish I could come.
I was in Chicago last year and I would love to visit again especially during Romantic Times Conference but sadly I don’t have the money or the time off from work to travel from Israel to the US now ๐Ÿ™
Have a great time and I hope you’ll post pictures on your blog .

Was in Chicago last month and loved it!! But a very monotone trolley driver insisted the name came to life because of all the blowhards that ran the city at the time. I have to agree that it fits!! We had trouble opening doors on the Mag Mile from the wind!! I want to go back in the summer time to enjoy all it has to offer!! Have fun and wish I was there at RT with you!!

Wish I could be there! I only live 5 hours south. But I didn’t find out about it until it was too late for me to plan. Dang!! Hopefully it will come to St. Louis one day.

My understanding is that it was named the Windy City because of the long winded politicians from a long time ago. I don’t think much has changed. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Anyways, have fun!!

I definitely agree about Wyoming being the windiest place. Have fun and love the new cover of Kissin’ Tell! ๐Ÿ™‚
