CHASIN’ EIGHT is here!!!!

June 28, 2011

CHASIN’ EIGHT, book 11 in the Rough Riders series is now available for your download pleasure!  I’ll just post the buy links right here, in case you missed them elsewhere on the site:

amazon.com

barnesandnoble.com

It always cracks me up when I log on my computer the morning of a release day, and I’ve already gotten emails and comments from readers who waited up until midnight or so when amazon.com and b&n.com release the preorders, and have finished the book while I was tucked away in my bed.

Ooh, here’s another look at this fab cover,  and I blew it up huge, well because it’s my site and I can do what I want — hee hee — but also because I love love love this cover so much 🙂 — and what’s between the covers ain’t bad either, or so I’ve heard from those souls who received an advance copy. But now my bad boy Chase and his charming lady Ava’s love story is available at fine e-tailers everywhere, you can judge for yourself…Enjoy!

I am so conflicted! I want to read it right now but I also want to save it until we leave on our cruise so I have something new, engaging, and exciting to read. Of course my “rought ridin’ hubby” is encouraging me to read it so he can “borrow” it for the cruise. I told him to buyb is own damn copy!

    Hi Lorelei
You may remember me from a couple of weeks ago trying to pre-order Chasin’ Eight for my Nook from B&N. Well, I finally have it!! YEAH… WOO HOO!! After having it out with B&N this morning because it did not show up on my Nook at midnight as most pre-order books do. I thought I was going to go nuts most of the night trying to figure out what to do and finally just had to go to bed frustrated that I could not get a head start on reading it as I had planned. Lately every book that I have pre-ordered from B&N I have had problems with downloading and have had to call them and complain because for whatever reason they are not automatically appearing as they once had. Long story short I had to erase everything (including all my ebooks downloaded as pdf’s) and de-register the device. I finally just finished loading everything back on again so hopefully this solved the problem for future pre-order downloads. So, I am off to a quite place to get started on my McKay fix.

BTW– Somewhere I had Kissin’ Tell as the next Rough Riders book releasing but can’t find where I read that. Am I loosing it? LOL. Thanks Lorelei… love, love your McKay’s. 🙂

It was really hard for me to get out of my Jeep and walk into the office at 8 this morning. I had been reading for an hour. I want to read tonight, but it won’t be until late. I know by the end of the long week I will be draggin my tail because I won’t go to sleep until 11 or so and I’m up at 4:30! I just had to plan my duaghters baby shower for saturday after the new book came out didn’t I. GAH! Poor planning on my part. I’m enjoying it so far though! Congrats on the release! I thought the same as Beverly. I thought Kiss and Tell was next? Don’t get me wrong I have been wondering about Ben since he chatted with Brandt. There was something sweet and sexy about him then.

Its out!! I am once again immersed in McKay fantasy land! My boyfriend is going to have to stand up to some tough McKay standards, but is it sad if I want to move to Wyoming just to find a cowboy? haha Love, love love your books! And now I’m gonna get started on Chasin’ Eight!

I live in Australia so it was already Tuesday lunchtime when I was gearing up to read your latest book! It was also a public holiday in my town for showday! (Do you call it a Show in the States? It’s sort of like a carnival). I looked up the state time differences between Samhain and Amazon and found out I could download it at 2pm through Samhain instead of 6pm through Amazon…guess which one I chose 🙂 Loved the book and the longer length! It took me seven hours to read it straight through! My nice husband cooked (heated) dinner for me so that I didn’t have to leave the book.

I was one of those that stayed up till midnight to download, but was able to around 11:45pm. LOVE THIS BOOK!!! Can’t wait till we get to read Ben’s story. Wouldn’t it be great to have a poster with all the McKay (& Jack) men! I know they are fictional but sure would look good hanging in my bedroom.

I happened upon the Rough Riders series a few months back when I downloaded “Cowgirls Don’t Cry”, and I didn’t realize I was reading the last book in the series until I was halfway though. So, I started at the beginning and fell in love with the McKay men…and the Glanzers, too. What a fantastic series! Chase did not disappoint! Cannot. Wait. For. Ben! Take a bow, Lorelei….this was a great one!

Well I finished Chasin’ Eight after a late, LATE night reading because I couldn’t put it down! So tired at work today but it was worth it. What will happen with Gavin??? I hope we get to read more about him and he doesn’t just walk away like Ben’s prediction!! What an emotional situation for everyone, least of all poor Gavin. He didn’t seem resentful in any way towards his parents or brothers but how could you not be – just a little?

Oh and Ben…WOW…I like a little BDSM and it seems like he does too…LOL

Just finished…I LOVVVVVEEEDDDD IT!!!! You amaze me. Everytime I read one of your books I have a new fav. Kane and Ginger was on the top of my list so it was so nice to get a little peek at what they are up to. I read the post a few days ago from the gal that gave you (as a writer) such a glowing review. I feel the same way but I just not that articulate!!!

It took me only one day and I’m finished reading Chasin’ Eight. I absolutely love the series and I think this might be my favorite book in the series! Great characters! You never disappointment me Lorelei.

While I love the cover picture, once I finished the book and had another look at the cover I notice a small detail about the height difference of Chase and Ava. 🙂 I enjoyed that twist that you put into their story.

I’m looking forward to Ben’s story! Keep them coming, you have a great talent.
