CC – landed on the NY Times at #15! Win one of 15 gift cards!!

Just found out yesterday afternoon that COWBOY CASANOVA landed on the NY Times Bestsellers ebook list at #15!!!! It also slid into slot at #29 on the NYT for the combined print and ebook list–with no print books behind it, which boggles my mind, cause that means you all were a little…anxious to buy Ben’s story 🙂 Add in the #81 slot on the USA Today Bestsellers list…and I’ve got some serious celebrating to do!! So thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who plunked down your hard earned cash during this busy season. I get all teary-eyed when I think about it.
To celebrate, I’m giving back to you. Since CC hit #15 — I’ll give away15 – $15 giftcards to the online bookseller of your choosing!

First off congratulations. I’m so glad Ben’s story hit #15, I think it will go higher still. It’s a great story. I have every RR book in both ebook and print, except for the last two which I will get in print once they are on sale. I always have to have a LJ or an LA book with me as well as my Kindle. In case my battery is low or dies, I have the print book. I try not to go anywhere without one or more of your books. Thank you for keeping me reading. The books are sexy and fun, but I think the reason I keep coming back is because of the way you write the McKay family. I had Cowboy Casanova preordered, and read it as soon as it downloaded to my iPod. Ben was awesome, and, again, the family interaction was so great. We’re all going to be very sad the day this series ends!! Thankfully, we still have a few books to go (at least, that I know of;)!

So proud of you Lorelei! So proud of your loyal readers because let’s face it they love the books and continue to buy when money is tight and at this time of year choices are aplenty. I think one key to your success is that you do not rely on a “form book” you know what I mean, just look at some of the other long lasting series, very few are stand alone books and what I love is you don’t spend a quarter of the book catching us up. You just write the characters story. If you insert tidbits about past characters then better for us.

I’d be celebrating too with such a mind boggling accomplishment. I know many great writers who never make it, which only proves you’ve got that extra special sumpthin. We fans always tell you how wonderful & talented of a writer you are, but I bet it feels good when its backed up in book sales and your name is on the NY Times Bestsellers List (again).
Seeing that your Cowboy books (especially RR) are so beloved hopefully spurs you on to write more and more of this genre. Of course, the downside is that it might take time away from Lori Armstrong. DARN! If only you didn’t need sleep nor a life….LOL, just kidding. We wouldn’t begrudge you anything seein’ as you bring so much enjoyment, escape, erotica, etcetera. etcetera (ran outta E’s) to our lives. It’s a mystery how you get so much done as it is!
Anyway, I will continue to be one of your ever faithful fans in the coming new year. Not that I have a choice really, since I crave your writing more than I do chocolate. But no matter how bad my “Anderson Addiction” or my “James Jones” drives me insane, I promise to never ever be one of those idiots who tries to bully you (or any author) into writing faster.
