πππHope you all are staying stress-free during this season! πππ
I’ve been running a holiday contest on my Facebook page all this week — check it out if you haven’t already! Two days left for a chance to win a prize π
Thanks for all the awesome comments last week! I wish the interface on this blog made it easier to reply to each comment — but rest assured I read every one and I’m always so happy and grateful that you all care enough to stop by and share what’s up in your lives too π

Love the contest. Last week was nice I finally got to see my best friend (the first time since her birthday in Feb) and go out to lunch for my birthday. Until this year we used to get together for lunch/movie every 3 weeks or so.
My beastly basset hound, Murphy, aka the basshole jumped up and pulled a new pack of sugar free gum off my kitchen counter (For being such a low rider he sure does get into a lot of stuff) so I had to watch him as there is an ingredient in that gum that is deadly to dogs. Thankfully he’s ok and his #2’s were sparkly for a couple of days from the gum wrappers. Never a dull moment with this bad boy.
Hope you have a great day and Merry Christmas!

Finally got my new furniture delivered and set up. Pleased with the way it looks. After receiving a diagnosis of “NO evidence of disease” the day before my birthday I now consider this year to be a good year. Hope everything is good with you and Mr. James. Your pictures are a welcome distraction to our world around us. Stay well.

Merry Christmas Lorelei! I hope Santa brings you everything that you wish for. I hope the new year brings you much happiness, good health and prosperity.
I just finished all my Christmas baking yesterday. Wish I could post photos here to show you. π Every year I choose 1 new recipe (this year was Pfeffernusse) to make in addition to my standard (Nanaimo Bars, Chocolate Truffles, Christmas Cake [if you’ve only ever eaten store-bought, don’t knock it. Home-made is sooooo much better!], shortbread, Chocolate Marshmallow Rolls, Cheesecake and Jam Swirled Brownies).
We’ve started our 2 week isolation so we can visit my husband’s 90 yr old mom for Christmas. You would think I’d have all the time in the world to clean, put up the decorations, and wrap all the gifts… Hmmm. I really don’t know where the time goes!
I don’t do FB, but Good Luck to everyone participating in the holiday contest! Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!
