My good buddy and Charlene Teglia’s new book, Wicked Hot, is available today! And she’s asking what gets you hot–because she knows how to write hawt 🙂 Come on, you wanna tell her –
July is a scorcher
It’s a scorching July! My bookshelf is on fire with two erotic romance releases and I’m running wild here on Lorelei’s blog to do my bit to make summer nights hotter. Her cowboys made me set my controls to Max AC long ago, so it seems only fair to return the favor. *g*
From St. Martin’s, Wicked Hot is the tale of a succubus sent to seduce incorruptible Nephilim. You can view the book trailer here:

This is my third St. Martin’s title, and a very exciting opportunity to dig into a new breed of warrior hero. Or should I say old, since tales of the Nephilim date back to Biblical times and the Epic of Gilgamesh. Bringing this fascinating race to fictional life with wickedly hot seduction and ménage a trios would have been fun even without the swords and Barry Manilow jokes.
From Pocket, Wolf In Shining Armor appears in the anthology Naughty Nights. Werewolves go medieval in this erotic adventure. The medieval period has always interested me, but a knight in shining armor who grew fur and a damsel in distress armed with fangs and claws was a pure delight to write.
Are you having a hot summer? Do you have a favorite way to beat the heat, or do you revel in the mercury rising?

Happy Release Day, Charli. And can I just ssy, wow, loved the storyline for both of these books, and definitely look forward to reading them.
I love a lot of heat in my reading, but not so much in the weather. I am lucky enough to live close enough to the beach, that we try to escape once a week to the coast to cool off.

I really like the sound of this book. As for what I do to beat the heat. Read a really hot book and then I don’t notice the triple digit temps. 🙂

Good thing I have lots of cold things to drink 😉

Thanks, Deb!
Cathy, I’d rather have heat in my reading than my weather, too. : O
Larena, that would equalize things, wouldn’t it? *g*
Lorelei, hope you enjoy!
