February 26, 2022
Thanks everyone for the well-wishes. I am S-L-O-W-L-Y getting better, but it’s taking longer than I imagined.
Anyway, since January and February have blurred together, I’ve decided to do a 2 month wrap-up next Saturday. That’ll also include a contest 🙂
So here’s the fun quiz I found:
MY ANSWERS:
- Great British Bake-off
- Jack Reacher — OMG it is outstanding!
- I don’t have a specific game per se, but I STILL love to play all board games! And card games.
- Real Time with Bill Maher
- The 3 movies I quote from the most — The Princess Bride, Dodgeball and Talledega Nights (the Ballad of Ricky Bobby)
- Archer and South ParkÂ
- Is saying my brother cheating? He was a professional standup comedian for over 15 years. But if I can’t pick him, I’ll say Mitch Hedberg (RIP) or Bill Burr
- Last time was when I had a…special gummy and I laughed so hard at nothing while we played cards and I couldn’t explain what the hell was so funny but I guess I was funny too 😂
- It’s a tie: 69 Million Things I Hate About You by Kira Archer is a gut buster, and so is Beauty Queens, a YA by Libba Bray
Okay, play along!

1. SAS Australia & I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Australia
2. Yellowstone yes I know I’m behind
3. Family Fued Scooby doo Home & Away
4. Grand designs UK & Aust.
5. Dodge Ball now the next 2 movies are based on my late mum’s laughter. She had a laugh that is truly indescribable until you heard it. ACE VENTURA PET DETECTIVE I had to watch this movie 5 times on the 5th time without my mum present it wasn’t half as funny.
HEAR NO EVIL SEE NO EVIL made the mistake of going to see this at the cinema with my mum. Missed all the one liners and comic timing as my mum was laughing so hard and loud the whole cinema patrons were either laughing at/with her (like me) or totally pissed off.
6. Everybody loves Raymond That 70’s Show
7. I don’t have just ONE favourite comedian some of my go to comedy shows are LIVE AT THE APOLLO UK
JUST FOR LAUGHS FILMED IN MONTREAL
8. Christmas 2021 every year because of the heat and since the kids were young my sister and would buy water balloons (1000’s) or water pistols/super speakers, and this year we did Nerf guns. Every adult every child receives a gun or bucket of water balloons. After lunch it’s a free for all. My son and my nieces partner were the only ones left standing. Their commitment and comic timing was hilariously funny
9. I sadly can’t recall reading comical books, however Lorelei has made me laugh out in the most awkward public places buses, trains etc. Oh hang on an Australian author Kathy Lette.
