I love that, while bad reviews to make your day a little less bright, y’all find a way to rally and go with it. There is always going to be those rare few readers that “hate” everything they read. I’d love to see someone tear into those readers at their workplace and criticize their last 8- 12 months’ work. See how that makes them feel.
If a reader does not like it, they need to still be respectful and try to offer mature explanations for their conclusions. At least they *should*.

    Thanks for sharing the video.

I’ve always wondered why people that can judge and review a book with one star after only reading two or three pages bother to waste anyone’s time even bothering to review at all when it can’t be an honest one since they didn’t bother to read in the first place! Besides, if they can’t read the book, why should anyone read their review?

Before I buy a book I always read all the reviews. Strange…most bad reviews are no longer than the book’s title. It seems as though they haven’t read a word. A writer puts their heart and soul into every aspect, every character and makes the story grow from a seed to a full blooming tree with strong limbs. As the saying goes, ‘if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all.’
Every bad review should be read while wearing a clown mask, in front of a mirror…this will show how truly funny and scary they really are.
Thanks to all the writers and their great senses of humor.

That video cracked me up!!! I do not read reviews on authors I already like and let’s be honest the outline on these are typically the same. The fun is how they got there and all the hot sexy scenes that we get to imagine. People who leave that kind of “review” are idiots and shouldn’t even be purchasing books in the genre if those are their comments!!! I love you Lorelei James
