…Pulling off the ultimate con… if they can keep from pulling off their clothes.
Keely McKay knows Jack—and Jack Donohue is a certified pain in her Wranglers. The lone girl in the prolific McKay family, Keely needs another man giving her orders like she needs a hole in her boot. What she does need is a restoration specialist so she can open her physical therapy clinic—and prove she’s left her wild-child days behind. That means dealing with buttoned-down, uptight Jack.
Jack is this close to securing a career make-or-break project, until he learns his lack of marital status puts him out of contention. When the notoriously hot-tempered and hot-bodied Keely begs him for help, he proposes a crazy idea. He’ll oversee her project—if she acts the part of his loving fiancée.
Their sizzling lust makes it all too easy to go from butting heads to knocking boots—but outside the bedroom they’re as mismatched as ever. The McKays remind Jack of the humble upbringing he left behind, and cowgirl Keely feels she doesn’t measure up to Jack’s big-city lifestyle.
When the dust settles, Jack and Keely must face the fact they’re not fooling anyone but themselves—or they’ll risk losing the real deal.
Warning: this book contains one hot-blooded cowgirl and one cool-headed businessman in a stripped-down, revved-up game of sexual truth or dare.

I preordered All Jacked Up and as soon it was available for download I started reading it and I found myself staying up until 1:30 a.m last night to read it!
I just loved the book and I was sad when it was over because I know I’ll have to wait a few more months for the next book in the series- which I really hope there will be one 🙂
Jack and Keely were great characters and I really got into their story and boy did you write HOT love scenes!
I also really enjoyed reading about all the rest of the McKay and West from previous books and I can’t wait to read more about them!

I couldn’t agree more with Moran above – I really enjoyed this book! Couldn’t stop reading until I’d finished. I’ve loved reading all the books in the series and all your characters. Can’t wait for the next book. One more thing, can someone let me know what ‘biscuits’ are that you have for breakfast I’m from Wales in the UK and often wonder what they are when I see them referred to in American books. Thanks.

I absolutely adored this book!!! I knew as soon as Keely said she would never date another guy in a suit that she would end up with Jack. My mama argued with me because we are both obsessed with the Rough Rider and Wild West books. Can’t wait for the next book!!!
Sharon— biscuits are basically self-rising flour, milk, and butter mixed up, rolled into a ball and eated with breakfast normally with sausage or bacon… I am from Mississippi and my daddy makes them homemade every morning they are really good, but I guess it is just and American thing. ha ha

I’m trying to make the book last a while. I have all the books in the series, I will most likely start back at the first one and re-read them again AFTER I finish Keely and Jack’s story. It’s almost like an addiction.

Thanks Brittany I’ll give them a try.

Honestly, I loved this installment. Keely was just as fiery as I hoped she’d be nad jack was just yummy!
It was geat to see glimpses of everybody in this book too.

Like Sayuri, I realize that I am also late with my release day comment, especially since I’ve been waiting for Keely’s story for a long time now. First and foremost, I’ve gotta say that your writing has grown. And that’s saying a lot because when you first came out with Long, Hard Ride, your words painted a picture so beautiful, it was easy to visualize. I didn’t think you could top it. Boy, was I wrong. You’ve created these characters, brought them to life, that it makes my heart swell with so much joy and pride. ‘Cause usually, when I read a series, I end up hating a character or two and wanting them killed off (yes, I liked Dag and when he died, it made me sad ’cause the McKay family all somber seemed strange and kinda foreign.) So, to not hate any characters was kinda strange, but also exhilarating.
The thing that really always caught my attention with your books was the cover art. It was always so gorgeous and breathtaking and so up-in-your-face that I felt that I was right there with them. And Keely is so much more prettier than I imagined. She’s grown up a lot and we’ve seen that as the books have been released. For me, she really made an impact in Rough, Raw and Ready. Not that she didn’t have me laughing my ass off in the other books, but for her to be so serious and so withdrawn after she let Chassie know that Jack’s younger brother dumped her because she wasn’t the “marrying” type really hit me hard. Soon after, I was basically bouncing on the balls of my feet waiting for her story.
God, you did not disappoint. I laughed and cried and became a spineless jellyfish while reading this. I lost coherent speech and thought, How does Lorelei always come out with these phenomenal stories and plot lines? Seriously, you are a God-send. Keely’s story was even better than anything I could’ve imagined and the title was picked perfectly. Jack was sweet and a jerk and just so… manly that I want him to be available in plushie size so I can take him home. Lmao. And I loved how Keely’s brothers kept threatening to “gut” him. I laughed so hard, I choked on my soda.
You are a genius! I love your books and can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out in paperback. Now, I feel all sentimental and have to read them all from the start. Congrats, Lorelei, for a super job well done and for getting to the number 1 spot in less than half a day on MBaM’s top book list.

Now I will by Keely story. I am super addicted to series. I love this series. Your series has been exceptional. I was truly worried that Keely would be watered down for her book. But according to these readers you deliverered. I let you know if I agree. Just want to say Shoulda Been a Cowboy was excellent. I know you heard it before. But it needs to be said again and again.

Really enjoyed the story as I have the entire RR series. Question: how did Hayden become one of Keely’s nephews? I thought Kane, aka Buck, was his Little Buddies partner. Did something come of Buck and Hayden’s mother?
Donna said:
Boy Howdy! This is IMHO, the best RR story yet. I’ve enjoyed all of your stories, some more than others, but this is hands down my favorite. I am also of the opinion that you have grown by leaps and bounds as a writer. Keely and Jack light up these pages. And the sex – raw, raunchy, tender and touching. I love the protectiveness of her family and friends and Jack’s mother is great. AJU did not disappoint. Just waiting patiently for the next installment. Well, maybe not so patiently… Kudos girl. You deserve it.
